PACE

PACE Dial-A-Ride operates M-F from 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Open to the general public. Cost is 80 cents for seniors and students one way. Cost is $1.60 for others one way. Call one day in advance to (800) 451-4599.

Pace Van Pool

Vanpooling is an economical, convenient, and environmentally-friendly alternative to driving alone.

Pace Vanpool Program offers:

BUS SERVICE

Algonquin Township Bus Service operates M-F from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m for any Algonquin Township resident receiving Social Security or SSDI or over 50 years in age. Cost is $2.00 for one way. Call 847 639-2700 ext. 6 to schedule a ride.

METRA

The Fox River Grove station is on the Union Pacific/Northwest Line. Station is unmanned but tickets can be purchased online and on the train. Trains run frequently during weekday rush hours and about every hour during off-peak times. Train schedule can be found at www.metrarail.com. Cost for parking at the Fox River Grove station is $1.25 a day M-F on a first come/first served basis. There is no charge to park during the weekends. There are two parking lots - one right on Route 14 and the second one is off Lincoln behind New Hope Church. Pay boxes are located at each lot. There is no overnight parking at the train station.
