The Village of Fox River Grove has an immediate opening for a full-time position to perform wastewater testing and assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of public rights-of-way, utility system, buildings, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. This is a cross disciplinary position involving extensive desk, field, equipment, and vehicle work in both the Water & Sewer and Streets & Parks divisions of the Public Works Department. HOURS: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and emergency call-outs.

• High School Diploma + 2yrs of college/technical schooling in advanced biology and chemistry.

• Certification as a IEPA Class "2" Wastewater Operator License in the State of Illinois.

• A valid Illinois Class B CDL driver’s license.

• Experience or aptitude using a variety of public works equipment and vehicles.

The Salary range is $37,255 – $51,257 DOQ. The actual starting pay rate will be based on experience and qualifications. Competitive benefit package.
